Harmony
Avid Residential Group
Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia
With six leaf national EnviroDevelopment certification, Harmony brings people together in a connected community lifestyle in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
Located in the lush green hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, and only a short distance from the beach, the Harmony Estate in Palmview is a master planned community which encompasses the heart and soul of beachside living.
Calibre's Solution for Living in Harmony
Harmony’s design embraces the Sunshine Coast’s enviable lifestyle and is home to Queensland’s first Grand Linear Park. Spanning more than five hectares and running the length of 10 football fields, it will connect residents to Harmony’s 60km network of pedestrian path and cycle ways.
Creating sustainable communities with six leaf accreditation
Harmony has achieved ‘Six Leaf’ national EnviroDevelopment certification in master planned communities from the Urban Development Institute of Australia. Meeting the six leaf criteria is critical to creating sustainable communities that will benefit the environment long term.
- Respect the ecosystem
- Reduce waste
- Energy
- Use materials sensitively
- Conserve and re-use water
- Grow community spirit

Six leaf design principles
To obtain six leaf accreditation the master plan allowed for 70% of lots orientated to maximise solar amenity, 100 hectares of open space, innovative water sensitive urban design principles, waterways to suit natural design and conservation of fish passage and infrastructure design to maximise capacity and service potential.
