NZ Careers Fairs put Calibre Graduates in the Spotlight

Friendly faces from Calibre’s graduate cohort represented Calibre at the University of Auckland’s Engineering Career Expo held Tuesday 2 May.

The event presented Calibre’s graduate engineers an exciting opportunity to reflect on their own experiences and career development as they engaged with students ranging from those just starting out in their studies, to those about to graduate.

The team reported steady interest at the expo, with students most interested in finding out what projects Calibre is currently working on, how teams are structured, and how the graduate rotation works.

The expo revealed key attraction factors for students entering the industry include quality of projects and opportunity to work within a variety of sectors in the early years of their careers.

Calibre will also be attending the Engineering and Sciences Careers Fair at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch on Wednesday 10 May. If you’re an engineering student or interested in a career in engineering, come and say hello.
